The exhaust emission valve, or EGR valve, in a motorcycle regulates the flow of exhaust gases back into the intake manifold, helping to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and improve engine efficiency by lowering combustion temperatures.

This EGR port blanking plate can be used to delete an EGR system from nearly all 50/125cc Chinese motorcycle or scooter engines and exhausts. Placed between the exhaust and the EGR valve, it stops it working.

Our EGR blanking plate is supplied with a gasket and 2 bolts (as pictured). Install this plate to prevent exhaust gas from being redirected into your engine to be burnt for the second time. The exhaust gas recirculation system reduces the emissions produced by your motorcycle or scooter, however, it does result in unfiltered particles being put back into the combustion chamber. Insert this plate into your EGR system to block the path of the exhaust gas for a seamless look, or use the plate to block off the port and remove the rest of the EGR system and block off any other ports as required.

The modification can easily be reversed by removing the plate.

The centre to centre mounting hole distance is 31mm.
