Description

The speedo cable is a flexible, often metal, cable that transmits rotational motion from the motorcycle's front wheel or transmission to the speedometer. It consists of a core that rotates inside a protective sheath, which is connected at one end to the speedometer drive and at the other end to the speedometer itself. As the wheel or transmission turns, the cable rotates and transfers this motion to the speedometer, enabling it to display the motorcycle's speed accurately.
